At the moment, this is the only popsicle maker that I can find that is BPA free, which makes it stand out in a sea of competitors. I'm not at the point of having kids--I just like popsicles--so the size is a bit small for my needs, but I suppose the portion control isn't a bad thing! Regarding other reviewers having difficulty removing them: I twist until they're spinning freely, and if they don't pop out, I hold my hand around the outside of the one I'm trying to remove for a few seconds, and the single pop I want removes easily.

I purchased this so that I could make my own low/no sugar frozen fruit bars. With the use of my Vitamix blender, I can put whole fruits in with the pulp and all and freeze them into 2oz fruit bars. Being on Weightwatchers, these zero-point frozen treats come in very handy!!! They take longer to eat than drinking it down as a smoothie and I can feel like I'm having a dessert! I love these.
I remove individual pops either by holding my hand around one or running it under hot water for a few seconds, then twisting/pulling the popsicle until it comes out. it's not too difficult.

i dropped these holders the first day i received them and they all broke. The couple i could salvage are difficult to remove the frozen pop

It is not easy to remove the frozen snack from the tray, unless we melt it, if it melts, the frozen snack comes of from the sticks.
