5 out of 5 stars The Christmas Card   January 9, 2009
Michael E. Lindsey
I loved this movie. It brings back memories when I was in Vietnam, waiting for letters and care packages. When someone you don't even know sends a christmas card like this to you while your in a war zone, the impact of the message that someone cares about you and wishes you a safe return home, it only puts stars in your eyes.

This was a well produced and directed movie, I didn't see any holes in the story line. When Cody went to visit sgt Jone's widow, that made me well up with a lot of emotion. The seane didn't really show her crying, but I'm sure she did.

That boy friend of faith's was shot down in flames when the two of them kissed at the secret place.

The curly extra crisp fries was the main point in the movie, they both thought alike and were very hard workers and were very much into family closeness too.

Happy days for them both, I only wish I could of had a girl like Faith waiting for me when my tour in Vietnam was over.

5 out of 5 stars Heartwarming...   January 8, 2009

We watch this movie each year at Christmastime. What a nice change to have a movie without violence, swearing, and sexuality - something the entire family can watch. I especially enjoyed the emphasis on the closeknit family. Themes such as loyalty, patriotism, enduring love, longlasting marriage, and hope round out this great film.

This is one of the best Hallmark movies I have seen. It is very good and highly entertaining. Even my husband enjoyed it!

I found this movie quite by accident. We watched the movie, and found it so good that I ordered it to watch every year. It is a very clean movie suitable for families. It has nothing objectionable in it, not even any bad words. We enjoyed the movie very much.

I love this movie and so does my sister. She's completely worn out our vhs tape so I figured it was about time for a dvd. This movie was delivered quickly and with no problems. I was very satisfied with my experience with Amazon.
