Product Description Amazon.com Review Not too many software packages will have you jumping and spinning, but that's what Barbie Gotta Groove is all about. Work with Barbie and her gal-pals Tori, Nichelle, Ana, and Chelsie (plus set designer Lara) to make cool clothes, rockin' stages, and swinging dance routines, then put them all together for the big show. Get creative on the dance floor with hip-hop, salsa, and other styles--once you've got the virtual girls going, you can try the moves out yourself! The interface is supereasy--for the most part, pointing and clicking is all that you need to do. The CD works in stereos, too, so even if you're not around a computer you can practice your jams. Use the Barbie Digital Camera (not included) to put yourself in the action--make CD covers or your own personality page! You can save your favorite outfits and dance pieces and watch them again and again, plus you can challenge yourself by watching a dance and then playing back the moves in just the right order. If you want, you can even compete with your friends to see who's got the right moves.

Dancing For The Gold July 17, 2003 Allison (Gig Harbor, WA USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I think that the Generation Girls Cd-rom is very boring to me. I played it and thought that it wasn't that fun. You couldn't create your own dances, people or music. I really like doing more karoke then this Barbie Gotta Groove Game.
Pretty cool fun for girls, for a little while January 7, 2003 Linda (Australia) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I think little girls will have fun with this game!Creating Barbie(and friends) outfits, dance moves, concert settings and, last of all, concert.I don't think anyone will want to play it for very long, however. The game still works on a processor that is slightly slower than required.
Cool May 14, 2002 This game is pretty cool. Altough, i agree with some people, it did freeze the computer about 2 times. You get to pick the Gen Girls, pick their clothes, dance moves and back-rounds. It's fun, though. I wanted to play more than i could. This game should be worked on, though. It needs some work; other-words, it's a great game and you should play it or at least try it out.
Only OK March 25, 2002 This game gets boring afterawhile. There is no chalenge, you don't even try to win anything. It froze my computer many times. You pick the two people you want, pick the moves, the costume, and then preform. They make the game look better than it is. It may be fun for little girls.
Buggy, many problems November 20, 2001 C.H. (Knoxville, TN USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We had tremendous trouble with this software. It didn't work about 25% of the time. It would actually freeze up the computer. First software for which I wanted a refund. Needs work!
