Great Games For the Grandchildren! May 19, 2008 Mary McKie My 4 and 8 yr. old grandsons LOVE these games!! They keep them coming over to visit Grandma!!!
Some fun, but not great products November 13, 2006 toemaas (Seattle, WA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Although you do get a lot for the money with this product, I'm still not sure it's really worth it. Most of the games are a little testy when trying to install them. Although they say they are ready for XP, they were never designed for that operating system, so sometimes you may see funny things when installing, or starting the games. In addition the graphics are obviously pretty dated on all of the games. Finally the gameplay is close to non-existent on most of the games. You definitely do not get the story you get with a Need for Speed or something similar. With that being said, these are a good introduction to video games for younger kids (probably 8 and under), and the limited story means it's a little easier to limit playing time, as the kids do not get so hooked!
