This body suit actually fits my twin boys true to size. Unlike Childrens place's pants, the waist bands are always too wide. My boys are long and lean. They are now 15 months and they fit nicely with plenty of room to grow. I purchased this and the crew neck versions in size 18 months. Which according to CP's size charts is for age 12 to 18 months. I recommend picking your size according to the weight and length that is listed. I bought a bunch of these body suits last year on sale (because with twins I am always looking for bargains). Wasn't sure if they would be the right size for this time of year, but I lucked out. I will buy again for next year. I love the thick soft 100% cotton. I wish my t shirt were this soft and warm.

I bought this in 6-9 mos for my 5 month old son and found it to be on the small side. The fabric doesn't maintain great shape as the sleeves, as well as being short are quite loose. There are too many buttons on the neckline in my view and it is quite thick round the neck. I probably wouldn't buy it again due to the fabric quality and colour which is 'nearly black' as opposed to 'black'.
