 A special kind of Hell September 5, 2010

I am a music therapist and percussionist, and was given this CD as a baby shower gift as the person knew I really like Bob Marley. I'm afraid to say I think this CD is just awful. The mallet instruments are not actually in tune with each other, and most of the songs are very hard to recognize. Most of all though, I think it is better to simply play Bob Marley to your baby! I don't understand the need for special baby versions of existing music, and look at them as just another unnecessary product.

This is not exactly what I expected- all instrumental, no lyrics. Also, some songs were hardly recognizable because they were so much slower and different than the original versions. Otherwise, I enjoy the product and am sure my little ones will too once they arrive.

I have been buying these albums for all my friends with new little ones and I make purchases depending on the parents' taste. This Bob Marley album really seems to do the trick getting the little ones down to sleep.
